Phoenix ranks well in urban mobility study

Metro Phoenix had the third-lowest yearly delay per auto commuter among very large urban areas (population over 3.0 million) in the United States, according to Texas A&M University’s Annual Urban Mobility Scorecard. With 51 hours of extra travel time per auto commuter annually, Phoenix ranked just behind Philadelphia and San Diego, which recorded 48 and 42 hours of delay, respectively.
