The Phoenix office of JLL has added two new team members to its Tenant Representation group, welcoming Jenna Borcherding as an Associate and Carl Beardsley as a Financial Analyst. The new team members will assist JLL clients with all stages of the real estate process, with a strong track record in corporate and high-tech office requirements.
Borcherding joins JLL with five years of commercial real estate experience including a professional background in business development, construction, and interior design. Prior to joining JLL, Borcherding most recently served as Director of Business Development for Jokake Construction where her role not only honed in on customer relations but also had a financial focus.
“Jenna’s well-rounded experience in the design and construction industry will be very beneficial for our clients,” said Managing Director John Pierson. “Our clients trust us to be their strategic partner when evaluating real estate opportunities and Jenna’s point of view will allow us to better consult on all aspects of a real estate transaction.”
Outside of the office, Borcherding is involved in a variety of commercial real estate organizations. She is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Arizona Chapter currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Developing Leaders. Understanding the importance of mentorship, she chaired NAIOP Arizona’s Mentor Program for three years, guiding young leaders in the commercial real estate community to advance their careers.
Her involvement within the community has garnered much attention recently. In 2015, she was voted Emerging Leader in Commercial Real Estate by Phoenix Business Journal. She was also named NAIOP’s Developing Leader of the Year in 2013 and has been recognized as one of AZ Business Leaders’ Up and Comers.
Carl Beardsley joins JLL with 7 years of financial and business experience. His responsibilities include providing comprehensive examination of corporate real estate users’ profiles to assist in building effective real estate strategies for JLL’s clients. He is also responsible for creating evaluations of properties and sensitivity analyses.
Prior to joining JLL, Beardsley worked for two financial consulting firms, CBIZ MHM, LLC and LCG Advisors, where he provided debt and equity transactional due diligence services in the specialty finance arena.
“We are very excited to welcome Carl to the JLL family,” said Senior Managing Director Pat Williams. “Providing accurate financial analysis is a large part of our business and Carl’s expertise will allow us to better serve all of our clients.”
The addition to Brocherding and Beardsley brings the Phoenix JLL Tenant Representation group to 17 brokers, continuing a tradition as one of the Valley’s top tenant rep groups that dates back to the formation of the local office in 2000.
