Arizona’s GDP growth ranks No. 6 nationally

According to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, Arizona ranked No. 6 nationally for annual gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the first quarter of 2016, ahead of California, Nevada and Texas.

Arizona’s GDP growth of 2.6 percent was led by growth in real estate and rental and leasing; construction; finance and insurance; health care and social assistance; and information sectors.
